Oil and Gas |
The oil and gas industry
includes wells (on or offshore), transfer to
pipelines and FPSO (floa ting,
processing, storage, offloading), oil and gas
processing and storage before and after processing.
As a leading worldwide supplier to the oil and gas
industry, Watlow has the expertise to design and
manufacture the right process heater, heater control
panel or complete thermal system for the job. Our
heater, sensors and controller solutions incorporate
and leverage the knowledge gained by our many

Oil Refining and Petrochem |
Distillation
and fractionating of crudes, treatment of intermediates,
meeting environmental restrictions and quality levels,
finalizing blends with additives, polymerization and
plastics production are all attributed to the oil refining/petrochem
industry. The vast majority of these processes involve some
form of thermal processing. Much of this is accomplished
through fired types of heating and steam systems. However,
electric process heat is many times called upon to
supplement processes, or to tackle jobs that are too
difficult or uneconomical to do through other heating means.
